Make Fun Matter

When it comes to giving back, Canada ranks as a top-five global leader in philanthropy, according to the World Giving Index. However, a new study called the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Family Pulse Survey reveals that while more than 75 per cent of Canadian parents and children feel it’s important to give to charity, they wish it was easier to do so. Between time, money and too many causes to support, giving can feel overwhelming

To ease the barriers Canadians face in giving back, we would like to introduce Make Fun Matter – a fun, easy and personal way to get involved. Make Fun Matter is a movement that inspires Canadians to do what they love to do to raise funds for Ronald McDonald House families.

Across the country, friends of Ronald McDonald Houses are already doing amazing things to help keep more families close to their sick child — everything from five year old Haylen starting an ice cream shop in his driveway to a father and son setting out on a longboarding trip across the province! And now you can help too. Anything you do, big or small, can make a difference.

Getting involved is easy:

  1. Visit MakeFunMatter.ca and choose an activity you and/or your family do for fun;
  2. Create your Make Fun Matter fundraiser online;
  3. Start raising donations to help families stay together.

Together, let’s put the fun in fundraising and Make Fun Matter!
